Auxiliary Services has centralized contracts with all of the major carriers (FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc.). All necessary supplies are kept in stock in Central Services and are available upon request by contacting Central Services, x4280.
Outgoing packages are picked up during the afternoon mail route. If your package is prepared after that, you can drop it off at Central Services or the drop boxes in front of Hollister. When preparing shipments, feel free to contact Auxiliary Services, x4298, for advice on the best method.
Make sure you process your UPS and/or FedEx shipments with the Babson-approved method, so that our discounts apply. For UPS, you must use CampusShip, and for FedEx, you must use ShipManager. To get access to these programs, contact Auxiliary Services, x4298.
Rule of thumb when shipping:
- If local (New England, NY, northern NJ), use UPS Ground – cheapest and gets there next day
- Lighter international – USPS Express Mail
- Heavier international - FedEx
Please be sure to include your departmental account number on all shipments.
